Our social mission community includes individuals like you. We work with nonprofits, for-profits, entrepreneurs and individuals working for change. Together we are searching to imagine the future, while giving redemptive shape to our world today. We work to mobilize collective power and infuse it with a redemptive love. As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. put it, "Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic."

 

Our approach to this big task has been about process and relationship. As social innovators, we work hard to foster dialogue and space for people to meet face to face. We then help them find ways to work together and share their human resources. When this happens, people begin to create together and find workable solutions to complex problems.

 

We realized that personal dreams matter and they serve as an essential contribution to shaping this new landscape. The Grove is the place where we help others incubate dreams that have the power to become solutions to social problems.

 

Our work has taken us in many directions, working with diverse cultures and people on health care issues, economic development in an urban community, food security for the disadvantaged, human rights related to human trafficking, and peace making and mediation of conflicts. We work and partner to address vital challenges because we believe in the value of transformation.
